Pippa has lived in South Cambs since 2012 and loves community life. She has won many campaigns for local residents, from stopping elderly people being evicted during COVID to taking on and winning against Highways England over disruptive nightworks. Pippa will bring care, compassion and a campaigning drive to her work as an MP.
Pippa is passionate about the issues that matter to people here in South Cambs. She is calling for more investment in our local NHS and schools, action to protect our environment, and more power for local communities over the future of their area.
Pippa has a wide range of experience to bring to the role of MP. As a local councillor, she has led the green transformation at South Cambs, and has represented local government at the UN climate talks. As a business owner, she has worked with communities and governments around the world on environmental challenges.
The next election in South Cambs will be a closely fought contest between Pippa and the Conservative candidate. In 2019, the Liberal Democrats finished less than 3000 votes behind the Conservatives, making it one of the most marginal seats in the region.
